ELECTRONICS HARDWARE ENGINEER
Polar Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client; a market leading Micro-electronics product development specialist for an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer. The successful candidate will work within the development team, executing the roadmap of core technology and customer specific product development.
The role will involve developing, verifying and debugging Analogue, Digital and Power Supply Hardware solutions for new products to expand the product portfolio. This will involve close cooperation with other functional areas in a cross-functional project team.
Key abilities and characteristics for this role are:
1. Educated to degree level with extensive experience of designing, verifying and debugging commercial electronic products for medium to high volume manufacture.
2. Experience of designing systems centred around ARM based microcontrollers including low power and low noise SMPS, USB, CAN and peripheral circuits.
3. Experience of developing high quality products for volume production including design for manufacture and design for test.
4. Experience of pushing a product design through to production handover.
5. Must be a self-motivated, enthusiastic personality demonstrating a pro-active approach.
